<b> Hakes-Boettcher</b>

Audrey Boettcher and Chad Hakes were married on Jan. 7, 2017, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fairchild, Wis. She is the daughter of Joanne Boettcher of Kenosha and the late William L. Boettcher. He is the son of Donald and Linda Hakes of Stanley, Wis. The Rev. Ricky Bertels officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

Stephanie Kotecki was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Jessica Paulsrud, Amy O'Donnell, the bride's niece, Jessica Peterson and Michelle Hakes, the groom's sister-in-law. Junior bridesmaids were the bride's daughter, Maralyn Boettcher, and Amy Kotecki, the groom's goddaughter.

Jesse Kotecki was the best man. The groomsmen were Jesse Nowobielski, Brian Rozwadowski, and the groom's brothers, Shawn Hakes and Brad Hakes. The ushers were the bride's brother, Ryan Boettcher, and Andrew Burzynski.

Junior groomsmen were the groom's nephews, Gavin and Brayden Hakes.

The flower girls were the bride's niece, Zoe Boettcher, and the groom's niece, Makenzie Hakes.

The ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Dylan Hakes.

The reception was held at the Black Creek Lodge, Fairchild, Wis.

The bride graduated from Bradford High School and Gateway Technical College, receiving a degree in supervisory management. She is employed as an administrative assistant by the School District of Augusta.

The groom graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School and Chippewa Valley Technical College, receiving a degree in diesel and heavy equipment technician. He is farming with his brother as a mechanic and equipment operator at Hakes Dairy in Stanley.

The newlyweds honeymooned snowmobiling in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The couple plan to reside in Stanley.
