Catherine Grace Quiroz and Leonardo Jose Hibarra, both of Racine, announced their engagement.

She is the daughter of Linda M. New of Racine and the late Alex L. Quiroz Jr.

He is the son of Daniel J. Garcia and Marian R. Garcia of Racine.

The future bride graduated from Bradford High School and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

Her fiance graduated from Washington Park High School.

They plan to be married on June 9, 2012.

The bride is a former Kenosha resident.
