Barta-LaMere

Sarah Barta and Michael LaMere, both of Kenosha, announced their engagement. She is the daughter of Dr. Joseph Barta and Susan Barta of Kenosha. He is the son of Steven LaMere and Jennifer Lindsay of Kenosha.

The future bride graduated from Indian Trail Academy and attends the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, pursuing a degree in history with a minor in Asian studies. She is employed as a nursing assistant at All Saints Hospital in Racine and a barista at Starbucks in Kenosha.

Her fiance graduated from Indian Trail Academy and Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, receiving a degree in information technology programming. He is employed as an IT programmer at Delta Dental of Wisconsin in Stevens Point.

They plan to be married on Aug. 11.
