Sydnee Asala and Ryan Gott of Pleasant Prairie announced their engagement. She is the daughter of Tracey Asala of South Milwaukee. He is the son of Wendy and Thomas Williams of Kenosha and Jeffrey Gott of Spring Grove, Ill.

The future bride graduated from South Milwaukee High School and attended Carthage College. She is employed at Woodman's Food Market in Oak Creek.

Her fiance graduated from Tremper High School and Carthage College, receiving a degree in criminal justice. He is employed as a deputy sheriff with the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department.

They plan to be married on April 30, 2011.
