The ceremony: The Rev. John Corrigan officiated the 12:30 p.m. ceremony.
The gown: Ivory strapless organza gown with silver embroidery
The bouquet: A beautiful mix of burnt orange, rust, burgundy and gold fall flowers
The cake: The cupcake choices were chocolate, orange or carrot. The cake was marble with cherry filling.

The reception: A 5 p.m. reception was held at Founders Hall at the Kemper Center.

The menu: Grilled garlic chicken breast or black pepper-crusted beef tenderloin with brown sugar-glazed carrots and garlic mashed potatoes.
What made the day unique: It was Halloween weekend and Kemper was holding its haunted house and ghost tour, so not only did they have “monsters” peeking in their reception windows, but their guests could also attend the events.
Most touching moment of the day: The part of the groom’s speech when he promised the mother of the bride he would take good care of her daughter.
Honeymoon destination: Western Caribbean cruise to Grand Cayman, Cozumel- Mexico, Belize and Mahogany Bay Roatan-Honduras.
